The Connecticut Invention Convention State Finals is an annual celebration of K-12 inventors and entrepreneurs from across Connecticut. This year's event will be held virtually for the safety of our many participants. The event, in its 39th year, provides an opportunity for young inventors and entrepreneurs in grades K-12 to display their critical thinking skills through inventing, innovating, and entrepreneurial activities.

Welcome to the 2022 Connecticut Invention Convention Finals.
You should have received registration information from your school or our independent inventor program. Please use the directions when registering. They will assist you.
Questions? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our CIC teachers and coordinators are the best!
Teachers who would like to check the progress of their inventors' submissions can register as an educator in the system. Inventors need to select you as their teacher, and should be instructed who to select at the time of their registration.
If you are not seeing our inventors' registrations, please contact email@example.com, as the inventor might not have selected you in their registration process.
Thank you for all you do!
Thank you... for taking the time to change the lives of children forever, by helping them to learn to think critically, creatively, and commercially to solve their very own real problems.
We are excited to have you meet our young inventors. Our 1,000 State Finalists need judges from all career paths to help them continue to improve upon their designs. Please register your information, so that we know you will serve as one of our judges. Please do not use Internet Explorer when registering. (Knowing an inventor, does not disqualify you from judging. You will have a choice of the inventors you judge. Please do not judge any inventor that you know or have a connection with.)
Our judging period will run from March 25th - April 12th. In that time frame, we ask that you judge at least 10 inventors, but the more the merrier! You will watch inventor videos and read through their Invention Logs and display slides. Using a rubric, you will evaluate our inventors' invention process.
We will be back in touch with judge training, to familiarize you with our rubric and online judging system.
